Vespertine: to bloom at night
(inspired by our favorite flower – nocturnal blooming jasmine – which leaves the most delightful scent on the wind)
We’re two friends that connected around our love for immersing in nature and bringing together amazing people. As Iranian and Indian women, gathering is central to our upbringing and cultures, and we’ve continued this tradition in our personal and professional lives. It’s in our blood
Alisa Ahmadian has spent 10 years working in creative event production as a full-time executive producer and strategist at a major Bay Area event agency, a consultant, and in her social impact roles at IDEO, Salesforce, and clean energy nonprofit New Energy Nexus. She’s produced 5,000-person conferences, multi-city roadshows, executive convenings, innovation workshops, silent discos, and everything in between. She specializes in climate and impact-focused events, has a background in innovation facilitation, and loves getting involved in programming. A few of her clients include: IKEA Foundation, Mastercard, Singularity University, Concordia, Emerson Collective, the Gates Foundation. In addition to event production, Alisa is also a trained floral designer and she derives lots of joy from creating arrangements for gatherings whenever possible
ErikA VIJH has been helping her family and friends with their weddings for, well, forever. In 2021, she formalized her hobby and became a Day-of Coordinator. As an Indian American, Erika specializes in South Asian fusion weddings and prides herself on being able to create interfaith ceremonies. She aims to facilitate ceremonies and receptions that couples can truly enjoy by taking on the logistics so they can be present with their guests and one another.
A few things we’re passionate about in our work:
● Protecting our planet by producing minimally impactful, ecologically responsible events and weddings, and working together with climate-focused clients.
● Cultivating inclusion and belonging through in-person gathering. Lifting up people of color and the LGBTQ community, working with female founders and vendors, and co-creating deeply intentional spaces … we know we’re all yearning for more of this right now!
●Fostering creativity, curating wonder, and inviting playful discovery.
